The Psalm of King David, Psalm 138 is a word for those who are sent by the Lord to the secular system marketplace and also to pioneering senior ministry.

During this season, the writer feel strongly impressed to state that this is a word from the Lord for all marketplace, business prophetic Kings. (males and females).
Along with David’s own words, we must remember is many mantles and fine tune gifting. David was a true prophet, an inspired psalmist, writer, thinker, intellect who also was called to rulership both in the authority of a true reigning leader: a real king, but also one who had to go out and do continual battle with his many enemies: from envious King Saul, who even tried to murder David, but also the many enemies of Israel, as well as the enemies who were up close and extremely personal: some of his closest personal relationships: the death of his closest male friend, Jonathan, the disdain of  his wife Michal, the betrayal by his own mutinous son Absalom and very many more!

Prophetic worshipper, deeply insightful writer, David, had to live with all his God given talent and calling in continual stark, at times harsh, realism. He literally had to go  out to war, flee for safety when King Saul through the spear and repeatedly suffer sorrow due to the personal life of heartache, paying a big price with the death of his baby son for huge adulterous and murder, and all the private and public pain, continual trials of daily living, way back before indoor plumbing, automotive vehicles, web or air conditioning.

And while each of us today can envision an idyllic picture of prophet, priest and king David: out alone with the Lord while tending the sheep, being at first passed over by his own father when prophet Samuel came to anoint the future king of Israel, and then David’s valiant repeated victories…all of this can make him into a sort of celebrity who was spared from the dark side of life’s reality.

Yet, when we truly dwell on each one of King David’s real life personal instances, we can get a balanced picture about how David was forced time and time again to turn to God: in order to not be wiped off the face of planet earth, in order to “really make it,”  and in order to handle the up and down big real battles of his own personal times and life.

So when we read the following Psalm 138, let us pay close attention to the deeper real life true meaning to each verse. Let us then apply it to our own business lives and call to Kingdom Business Market Place: aka doing natural real business in the land, fighting the world mindsets, the secular world legal system, the rugged tough customers, who will betray or back stab in a heart beat just to get themselves ahead.

Then let us dwell on, meditate on, and sink our own faith into each Bible promise for our own God mandated ministry, big business, entrepreneurial high call, single parent in business, etc.

The writer calls the reader’s attention to the sections that are “bold italics” for special contemplation:

1 I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.
2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth:
for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
3 In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.
4 All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.
5 Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD.
6 Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.
7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
8 The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD,endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.
